Easy low carb recipes, like cloud bread or keto-friendly pizza crust, helped me stay in ketosis and lose 140 pounds. I’ll share my keto bread hacks (and cloud bread recipe) with you today!
Should you break up with bread to stay in ketosis on a ketogenic diet? My answer about keto bread might surprise you. In my experience losing 140 pounds on a DIRTY, LAZY, KETO diet, I was absolutely able to incorporate a variety of keto breads or bread substitutes into my routine. To this day, I enjoy carbolicious foods like keto pancakes, low carb pizza, muffins, and more!
Today, I share all of my keto bread substitutions (or bread swaps) that helped me stay in ketosis and on track with my ketogenic weight loss goals. Perhaps more important, I’ll share my thoughts about each example shown (some are better than others!). Additionally, I’ll review the pros and cons of relying on different keto bread alternatives. My goal with this video is to help you make informed decisions about keto bread and make your own, personalized plan for DIRTY, LAZY, KETO success.
To wrap up today’s episode, I’ll share one of my favorite classic keto recipes – a demonstration of how to make the “Consolation Prize Cloud Bread” recipe from the USA Today Bestseller, The DIRTY, LAZY, KETO Cookbook: Bend the Rules to Lose the Weight by Stephanie & William Laska (@Simon&SchusterBooks, 2020). The key to making cloud bread (as you can see in the shown photo) is making perfectly whipped egg whites.
Losing weight on the keto diet doesn’t mean you’ll be left feeling resentful about missing out on familiar favorites – quite the contrary! With DIRTY, LAZY, KETO, I figured out a way to cut the carbs while still enjoying comfort class foods like keto breads using low carb recipes and substitutions. Let me show you how I did it!
