Today we’re going to talk about High Protein Foods + the DIRTY, LAZY, KETO diet. No, this isn’t Atkins! The ketogenic diet is heavy on fats, moderate with high protein foods, and low in carbohydrates. The Adkin or Atkins Diet, just for your information, focuses on mainly eating high protein foods, medium amounts of fat, and very low (or no) carbohydrates. Very different, see?
What are the benefits of eating high protein foods on a ketogenic diet? I bet you have a lot of questions… How much protein should you be eating and why? What happens if you eat TOO MUCH or TOO LITTLE protein? What high protein low carb foods should you eat?
I’ll address each of these questions as it relates to DIRTY, LAZY, KETO and then move on to my favorite part – show and tell of actual high protein foods. I’ve emptied out my cupboards and refrigerator for our live video today and look forward to sharing my recommendations of high protein low carb foods.
