At some point or another, we all feel like “I can’t lose weight no matter how hard I try.” We tell ourselves a lot of excuses (yes, excuses!). Some make sense, like hormones, medications, or circumstances. But other times, the excuses don’t add up (I can’t lose weight because I don’t like eggs). We are so good at fooling ourselves!
It doesn’t matter your age or menopausal status, don’t give up hope. The first step is to let go of the the negative thoughts like “I can’t lose weight no matter how hard I try.” Replace that internal dialogue with positive, actionable steps. You CAN lose weight! You CAN follow a ketogenic diet and get into ketosis. You CAN overcome any (real or perceived) obstacles.
