Fine China Only for Company? Use the Good Stuff NOW! Baby I’m Worth It. Building Self Esteem #12, S.3

One of the most surprising lessons I learned along my keto weight loss journey was the importance of developing self-respect. Before I could lose any weight, I first needed to decide that I was worth the effort. Call it self-love, self-esteem, or self-confidence, all I know is that I needed to get to work! It took time for me to realize that my needs mattered, no matter how much I weighed. That sounds a bit hokey-pokey, I know!

Telling myself, “Baby I’m worth it” was not enough. I had to actually practice improving my sense of self-worth on a daily basis.

One way I worked on this was to force myself to use the good stuff now. Using my “good stuff” (like wedding china, for example), helped make me feel luxurious, important, and valuable. I pressed on…

What I discovered surprised me.

By building my self-esteem, I was able to make significant progress with weight loss. Apparently, these were connected!

Stop saving everything for other people or events that may never even happen. Indulge yourself with the best of the best and watch your confidence (and keto weight loss) soar.
