When I first started eating a low-carb diet, I didn’t tell a soul! I felt uncertain about what I was doing, and truth be told, I worried I wouldn’t be able to stick with it. I didn’t want anyone laughing at me (or making me feel worse than I already did about being overweight). I’m so glad I pushed through my nervousness – I went on to lose 140 pounds and maintain that weight loss now for 8 years!
